Our community of devotees follows the teachings of Lord Krishna as presented in the ancient Vedic scriptures of India, with the mission to promote the principles of Krishna consciousness and share the wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita with people from all walks of life.
Established in 1977, ISKCON Nepal has been spreading the message of love, peace, and spirituality in Nepal through regular programs such as kirtans, bhajans, and discourses. Our center is located in Kathmandu, where we help people connect with Lord Krishna and attain spiritual elevation.
At the heart of ISKCON's philosophy is the belief that every living being is a spiritual being, and that our ultimate goal is to reconnect with our spiritual nature and develop a loving relationship with God. To achieve this, we practice bhakti-yoga, which includes chanting the Hare Krishna mantra, reading the sacred texts, engaging in devotional service, and following a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
ISKCON Nepal is committed to promoting compassion, service, and self-realization, with our members actively engaging in various activities such as outreach programs, spiritual education, community service, and cultural events. We also operate schools, hospitals, and other charitable organizations throughout Nepal.
